Setup overview

Get your IPTV setup ready from the start

You need three things to begin: an online device, a compatible player and the information supplied for an accepted request. This overview helps you put them in the right order before opening the detailed instructions for your screen.

Four-part preparation

Check the essentials before installing

01

Confirmed account information

Wait for the response to your accepted trial or subscription request. It identifies the account or playlist format to use. Keep that message private and compare its labels with your player before entering values.

02

Stable connection

Check internet access on the viewing device itself. Finish system updates and pause large transfers during your first playback test. A network restart may help with a connection issue, but it will not correct a wrong account field or an unavailable feed.

03

Compatible player

Look for a player through your device’s official store or the publisher named in the relevant guide. Before installing it, check that it accepts the account format you were given.

04

Correct device guide

Find your platform in device settings. Two televisions with the same brand can use different operating systems, so follow the tutorial that matches the software on your screen.

Choose the operating system

Take the instructions for your platform

The guides below explain the relevant store, setup fields and playback controls for each device family. Pick one path and complete it before preparing another screen.

General setup sequence

A practical first-setup sequence

  1. 1

    Choose and install the player

Check the guide for a trusted installation source, then confirm that the app supports your account format.

  2. 2

    Use the supplied information

Open the appropriate account or playlist screen and enter each value exactly as supplied.

  3. 3

Allow the first load to finish

Give the app time to populate its categories. Let any supported programme guide update finish before restarting it.

  4. 4

    Test one available entry

Choose a channel and check a short stretch of playback before trying a different setup method.

  5. 5

    Confirm navigation and playback

Try Back and channel selection, then verify picture and sound on another entry.

  6. 6

Prepare another device only if needed

Once one screen works, use the relevant guide for any others. Keep concurrent viewing within your plan’s stream limit.

Simultaneous streams and prepared devices

An installed app is not an active stream. Your connection count limits playback happening together, even if compatible players are ready on several devices. Review connection options on the Plans page.

When something fails

Match the check to the symptom

Start at the point where progress stopped. A list that never loads needs different checks from a channel that pauses.

  1. Check the supplied account or setup information for typing errors.
  2. Confirm the player or app supports the supplied setup method.
  3. Restart the player or app if it becomes unresponsive.
  4. Confirm the device has a working connection.
  5. Pause heavy downloads or other network activity during testing where relevant.
  6. Test another available entry where appropriate.
  7. Record the exact on-screen error message.
  8. Contact Support with the device type, player or app name, and error message if the issue continues.

Do not send passwords or account details publicly.

From request to device setup

A trial offers one connection for checking the experience on your own equipment. A paid request adds your chosen duration and simultaneous stream count. After acceptance, use the supplied setup message with the appropriate guide to finish on your device.

From questions to viewing

Put your preparation into practice

Request a trial or select a plan when you are ready. Once your account information arrives, follow one device guide and bring any unresolved setup question to Support.
