Reach Samsung Apps
Use Home or Smart Hub to open Apps and find its search function. The route may differ with the model year.
TV & streaming setup guide
Find separate instructions for Samsung, LG webOS, Apple TV and supported MAG-style boxes.

Choose the right guide
These platforms have different stores and access methods. Identify the operating system of the device that will play the stream, then use just its section below. An external box follows its own platform guide even when it is connected to a different television brand.
Guided walkthrough
Move through the overview at your own pace, then use the detailed instructions below for your device.

Current stage 1 / 6
Use Home or Smart Hub to open Apps and find its search function. The route may differ with the model year.
Choose your device
Select the section for the device running the player or portal.
Device instructions

Look for a player that supports the information you received. Confirm compatibility and the current store listing before installation.
If the app displays a device identifier and a playlist-management website, follow that app's own instructions. Enter the supplied playlist only in the official workflow shown by the player.
After saving, reopen or refresh the player. Wait for channel groups, then test an entry and return to the list using the remote.
Device instructions
Open Home and select Apps or LG Content Store, using the name shown on your television.
Read the current listing and confirm that the player accepts your playlist format. Follow its installation instructions.
Use the player's own setup controls or the official management page it displays. Copy the supplied address without altering it.
Update the saved playlist, allow the list to populate, and test picture, sound and remote navigation.
Device instructions
Open App Store on Apple TV and search using the Siri Remote.
Choose an available player that accepts your supplied playlist or account details, then install it from the store.
Use the appropriate account or remote-playlist screen. Check each value and save the profile under a recognisable name.
Wait for the list, open an entry and check the Siri Remote controls. Consider AirPlay separately only when both devices and the player support it.
Device instructions
Find System Information and locate the identifier required by your setup instructions. Retain it privately for the confirmed setup process.
Look for Settings, then System Settings, Servers and Portals. Use the equivalent portal controls if your firmware labels them differently.
Enter the portal address supplied for your account in the portal field. Add a local display name and save the configuration.
Use the normal reboot command, wait for the portal screen to finish loading, and check a playback entry and the remote controls.
Playback checkpoint
Try these playback checks after loading your account. They help separate a setup issue from a single unavailable channel.
Reopen the app or portal after a normal restart to check that the setup was saved.
Allow categories to populate before selecting an entry.
Check picture, sound and the route back to the list; review programme data where it is provided.
Common problems
Choose the symptom closest to yours and make one change at a time. If you still need help, send Support the device model, player name and error text, keeping account details private.
Check the exact model, software version and region when asking Support for options. App availability on another television does not confirm availability on yours.
Compare the accepted formats in the app with the setup message. Check the entire value, including any accidentally added spaces, before trying again.
Verify internet access, let the active refresh finish and restart the player once. On a MAG-style device, check that the confirmed portal address was saved in its portal settings.
Compare another entry, reduce competing network traffic and restart the device if necessary. Where a network port is available, test Ethernet to help assess the connection.
Restart the television fully and check app updates and free storage. Older hardware may have a different app selection or take longer to process a large list.
Casting requires a compatible combination of player, sender and receiver. Test direct playback while you verify which casting method each device supports.
Device questions
The operating system determines the store and menus you use. A separate streaming box has its own setup process, regardless of the screen connected to it.
Send the manufacturer, complete model and software platform to Support. Those details help establish whether a suitable player or portal route is available.
